Toby's Story

Some drivers are defined by the opportunities they’re given. Others are defined by what they achieve without them. Toby Campbell belongs firmly in the second camp.

Unlike many drivers progressing through the junior formulae, Toby hasn’t benefited from significant financial backing. He began in rental karting, funding extra track time through a paper round before building a social media agency at just 16 to help finance his racing. Every step of his journey has been earned through hard work, entrepreneurial thinking and determination.

Despite having a fraction of the testing, mileage and experience available to many of his peers, Toby has consistently impressed teams with his ability to learn quickly, adapt under pressure and deliver repeatable performance. Time and again he has exceeded expectations, overcoming setbacks and making the most of every opportunity.
